Our Community at Castle Subaru McHenry

Castle Subaru McHenry recently donated $15,000 to Toys for Tots as part of the Subaru Share the Love® Event, reinforcing its commitment to community involvement through the Castle Cares initiative. On May 9, 2025, the dealership hosted a check presentation event with General Manager Nicole Schomer, local veterans, and the Subaru of America Chicago Sales team.

The funds support Toys for Tots’ mission of delivering gifts to local children in need. Castle Subaru McHenry chose Toys for Tots as its hometown charity for the second year in a row, reflecting the dealership’s dedication to causes that make a direct impact.

Through Castle Cares and Subaru’s $250-per-sale donation program, Castle Subaru blends automotive excellence with meaningful outreach—showing that at Castle, it’s not just about driving cars, it’s about driving change.

McBark Dog Park

Presented by Castle Subaru McHenry

The City of McHenry opened McBark Dog Park in 2014, with Castle Subaru McHenry as its presenting sponsor. Located on six acres off Route 31 near Kohl's, the park includes a small dog area, water fountain, and shelter.

"This park is a joint effort with government and the community to improve quality of life for our local pets and their owners," said Mayor Sue Low. Thanks to Castle Subaru McHenry’s support, annual park fees were reduced significantly.
