Supporting Toys for Tots with $15,000 Donation

Where: Castle Subaru McHenry, McHenry, IL
Castle Subaru McHenry donated $15,000 to Toys for Tots as part of the Subaru Share the Love Event, helping provide gifts to children in need throughout the community. The check presentation included dealership leadership, local veterans, and Subaru representatives, highlighting a shared commitment to supporting families.
By selecting Toys for Tots as their hometown charity for consecutive years, the dealership continues to make a direct and lasting impact on children and families across McHenry County.
McBark Dog Park
Presented by Castle Subaru McHenry
The City of McHenry opened McBark Dog Park in 2014, with Castle Subaru McHenry as its presenting sponsor. Located on six acres off Route 31 near Kohl's, the park includes a small dog area, water fountain, and shelter.
"This park is a joint effort with government and the community to improve quality of life for our local pets and their owners," said Mayor Sue Low. Thanks to Castle Subaru McHenry’s support, annual park fees were reduced significantly.
Providing 300 Coats to Local Children in Need

Castle Subaru McHenry partnered with Operation Warm and United Way of Greater McHenry County to donate 300 brand-new winter coats to children across local school districts including Harvard, Marengo, and Head Start programs.
This initiative addressed a growing need among families facing housing instability and financial hardship, ensuring children have proper winter clothing to stay warm, healthy, and confident at school. By working with trusted local organizations, the team helped deliver immediate, meaningful support to families during dangerously cold conditions.
Subaru Loves Pets: Fetch A Friend Adoption Event

Castle Subaru McHenry hosted its annual “Fetch A Friend” Pet Adoption Event in partnership with A Heart for Animals, bringing together adoptable pets, local families, and community supporters.
As part of the Subaru Loves Pets initiative, the event helped connect rescue animals with potential adopters while also collecting donations such as food, blankets, and supplies for the shelter. The event not only resulted in adoptions but also increased awareness and support for local animal rescue efforts across McHenry County.
Bringing Comfort to Cancer Patients Through Blanket Donations

Through the Subaru Loves to Care initiative, Castle Subaru McHenry donated warm blankets to patients undergoing cancer treatment at Northwestern Medicine McHenry Hospital.

Delivering Thanksgiving Meals with Home of the Sparrow
